Not sure what I can say about Mia Morris ... She played and recorded all of the parts on this song, and she loves a stand-up drum kit.

I'm sure you guys will dismiss her based on your preference for Slim Jim Phantom or whoever, but you should watch.

She also did a cool response song to "Stacy's Mom" called "Stacy's Song."

That's awesome! Great solution to the "How can I sing and still play drums live" question. Sitting down behind the kit just doesn't cut it, but here she gets to do both. Good for her.

Been following her for a short while and she does indeed play traditional set as well... and very well I might add! I suspect we will hear a great more from her in the future... I sincerely hope so! She's already a good , all-round musician.

Good is good. And she is talented. Standing up or sitting down! Dig the sequel to Stacey's Mom, I think Adam Sleschinger would have as well.

That's the first I've seen or heard of her, but I don't listen to or follow pop music. She plays well, sings well and writes nice tunes. I hope she continues to do well.

She's had a pretty healthy YT channel for about 7 years now --> https://www.youtube.com/user/miamialynn/videos
Used to favour an e-kit.
I think she was in Florida, but moved to Nashville a few years ago.
Haven't seen one of her vids in quite a while.
Looks like she's doing well.
Good for her. :thumbright:
