I purchased this drum around 20 years ago. I have never played it and the seller told me it was dead stock from a closed Music Store in Ohio, where I live. Since it wasn’t in a box when I bought it I never considered the story to be true. That being said this is absolutely the most mint 60s Pioneer that I have ever seen.

There is zero fade. The throw off is flawless. The muffler looks brand new. The snare wires are perfect. The lugs show no pitting.
The hoops under magnification show micro scratches. It that from years of shelf wear ? There is one tiny spot where the chrome failed, on the bottom hoop. See picture.

Will be shipped in a factory Ludwig corrugated box.

$450.00 plus shipping.
PayPal plus 4%.
Please reach me at Theluki@gmail.com as I don’t monitor my DFO inbox.

That doesn't happen to be from Prospect Music in Cleveland, does it? I have bins of NOS parts from the 1940's-1990's that came from the liquidation sale of that music store when it closed years ago.
