Just bought a 68' Premiere - 20" inch bass drum, 14 X 8 Tom (Tuna Can), 16" Floor - Mitch's first kt with Jimi.
Does anybody know what heads he used on top / bottom. I'm assuming some kind of Remo? Keith Moon used Premiere too, so I'll take his specs too.

I don't know the answer, but wasn't Premier making their own heads at that time? Everlast maybe?

hmm 1967..everplay extra were premier heads you know that)


I have a 16" old (circle logo) new still in (flattened Box..
Everplay Extra smooth white 16" exact very shallow collar; remember getting it as resonant (?) side for a (my 71 Premier floor tom been staring at it going on 50 years.

so if concentrate on 67 might find most pics

I think Ambassadors are a pretty safe bet. That's what pretty much everyone was using back then, unless they were using Emperors. Coated A's on our premier kit will get you pretty damn close.
