looked and guess I have never posted about my vintage round band kit.

I have had it a few month now.

I added a matching RB snare in addition to the 4160 RB. I also had my Ludwig Coliseum re-rapped to match the drums.

Here are some photos. I will add more later and some details about the age of the kid and information.

They are so beautiful and the best sounding of all the Gretsch kits I have owned.

12x8, 14x14, 18x14.

It's gorgeous all right....wow!!!

I have a SSB 12, RB 14, SSB 18 FT and RB snare - it's a slow project but will be a killer Elvin BDP tribute kit when done......

The RB 18 is the definitive bop bass drum , nothing else really matters after that . Someday you’ll have to try that kit w calf / skin heads to really taste the whole enchilada

I payed a bit more than I wanted but the finish and sound were too good to pass up.
I took off rail mount and use the new Tama flat based tom stand.
