The shell is actually an old used Pearl FF shell that I got "naked", dirt cheap from a local store. I treated the polished surface with all kinds of household chemicals I had at home, to get a more interesting look.
End result is a really nice and useful drum.

Some other time I can show the stave shell snare I made from an IKEA fruit bowl...

Well, it is not something you engage or disengage during a song, while playing. And it is not easily adjusted.
But it "works", it leaves the shell intact and it followed the rule to use only stuff I had at home or could buy at the small local hw store. Plus, it looks kinda cool!

I will probably regret posting this, but I have already ruined a Vinnie Colaiuta track, so what do I have to lose by destroying a muso fave band like Vulfpeck? Here we go, Vulf featuring Rihanna: We Found Love In Dean Town.

Funky. I like this different camera angles this time. I also find your drum closet strangely inspiring and might just go hang some spare hoops from a wall.
