If either of you decide to thin out, don't forget to let me know. BTW, OSA, what are those rims on the LA M452?
Those rims on that LA M452 are early 1970s Gretsch 8-lug die-cast rims.

IMO the MIJ ones that came standard on all LA Camco snare drums during that era look really really cheap to me so, I put those on for style.

Oh I'm thinning. I'm down 20 lbs from peak but another 10 or 20 to go.

Drum wise. I'll always respond to an offer. It just might be no or a counter.

Some beautiful snares you have there Gary. I especially love that Duco George Way...and the re-wrapped Tuxedo 3D Moire, of course. :)

Beautiful snares you have there too, Alan. But I agree with an earlier comment. Time to quit saying, "I'm not really into snares"!

Thanks 66. Yea, I guess you can officially say, I'm a snare guy!

Very nic collection Alan, but you shouldn't include that aberration from Bennett since it's Not a Camco

Alan, did you paint the Natural Maple LA era 452 I sold you? The one I bought from the original owner of C&C drums?image.jpg I've never seen it looking so clean and polished...It looks like you at least waxed it or? Anyway, it looks great!

IMG_1647.JPGRL-0514_07.jpgThe only new one I have other than the Oaklawn 6.5x14" is a Piano Black L.A. era 452 I picked up from Guitar Center. really didn't need another one, Guess it's nice to have matching Piano Black SDs that can go with any kit because of the neutral finish...
That's funny, there is already a picture of my snare in the gallery when Tulsatime owned it...Lol...

Thanks SlingaLug.

I really like that LA M452 and is a main staple in the collection. To date all I have done was added early 1970s Gretsch die-cast rims and clean it. I'm now on the hunt for a workable Aristocrat strainer.

Wow, check-out that groovy looking Alice Cooper Blue snare drum! It is very retro 1970s... nice collection!
