My wife wants me to put together a compilation of New Orleans music. I’m thinking she might appreciate some “newer” stuff...or at least 70s onward, where the sound is nice and clear. Some of the early stuff is muddy sounding. Anything to suggest?

Lord help me, I love this stuff. For a guy who lives in the NW part of the NW, as far from NO as you can get, that's saying something.

Thankfully, I have nothing more to add here. You have all the material you need. Just make sure there's lots of The Meters, The Neville Brothers, Dr. John and the Wild Tchoupitoulas. Those are the only ones I know. I'm sure the others are awesome as well. Now put that play list together and let us know what's in it. Ya'll be cool. Right on.
