I have wanted a cherry wood kit for some time now. They arrived last night and I couldn’t be happier. Anyone else play a cherry kit? Got pictures? Thanks

Only cherry drums ive owned were Ludwig Clubdate SE and the NeuSonics.
Both were blended shells,SEs had cherry/poplar/cherry,the NeuSonics Maple and cherry.
Both kits sounded bigger than they were, loved cherry.
But,the finish on your kit is outstanding!
I bet they talk!

Congrats man, that is a real stunner! Enjoy for years to come!

I only have a Cherry stave drum and that's it, but I can imagine how your full set sounds!

A couple cherry stave snares, but never played a kit! Enjoy!

And let us know how they sound!

Beautiful kit!

I’m a big cherry fan - have a Craviotto cherry kit. I think it’s underrated and a great wood for drums.

Have a friend with a DW cherry and it’s spectacular. A DW jazz kit with cherry / gum shells would is on my list if I get another kit.

Nice!

I’ve got a little Sakae PAC-D kit that’s cherry/Philippine mahogany. It sounds way bigger than its sizes. Makes me very curious about cherry in a full-sized kit.

Boy! You certainly fulfilled the first half of your handle, didn't you, "CashMan?"

Those drums are beautiful, as DWs usually are. John Good may be obsessive over wood, but you can't say that he doesn't deliver a first-rate product. Enjoy!

You can’t see real good with the rack and my mess but there set up. Whoever said Cherry sounds huge is spot on.
