The matte finish doesn't look good to me. The only drums with gold (or copper) hardware that I've come close to liking are on the Gretsch cadillac green sets, with View attachment 486548 View attachment 486549 gold sparkle BD inlay and gold hardware.

I've always loved the mix of green (emerald onyx) wrap with Gold hardware.

now that you mention it, the Anniversary set from Ludwig in Emerald Green Pearl with gold hardware is mighty fine looking!
