Took em long enough to get to a Vintage Rosewood. The original Teardrops were only available in one wood veneer finish; genuine rosewood. The stuff on these is the same as on SQ2 and is ALPI which has been available and in use by Sonor for years. Better late then never and a proper tip of the cap to the companies very first veneered drums.

I may be looking into the rosewood vintage kit sooner than i thought...If i can get a 12x8 tom and slotted t/rods, that could do it for me.

The Vintage series kits are really cool, high build quality and beautiful tones from those shells. Like the new Silver finish as well. It was neat to see the interior of the factory as they did this.
