I don't know if they still offer this, but the Starclassic used be available with or without sound rings.Ooooh. Inlays on the... re-rings?!
I didn't know Tama made drums with rings, but I'm not in the know to begin with. Are they in fact rings?
I've been there twice and I'll confirm that it's a very worthy addition to any itinerary! I mean, more for spending time with Halldór himself than for the drums, though the drums are amazing.Absolutely gorgeous!! Maybe next time my wife and daughter go to Iceland I can tag along. I’d love to see your collection.
It’s the 20” Byzance Thin jazz ride which is actually my favourite crash!Yeah man. All of those pies sound really nice. All Mienl, right? What's the left side pie, a big crash?
Correct, low/medium tuning. I actually haven’t fiddled with the bass drum at all since it came out of the box. Never heard an 18” bass drum sound this big. These drums are most definitely going to see more gigs than expected. The drums sound huge. Low/medium tuning? How do they feel under the sticks? The Star's keeping rolling around in my brain beside a set of Broadkasters and Sonor Vintages. Such problems . . .congrats again.
