The Musician's Friend description information say's it's "cast alloy." Really? No way. Not for that price. It looks like regular old B8 to my eyes.

Me thinks yer right GDEmm.

"Zildjian’s intrepid I Series cymbals are thinly crafted from bold, cutting B8 bronze and treated to extensive small, round hammering to unlock the rich musical character within. " SweetWater

BeeAte it is.

Replacing the ZBT line/series maybe... Not sure if the S series are still around but I believe they were B12 alloy. Not bad, but still very affordable

I've been surprised by the S series rides that I've played. Those are some decent sounding cymbals. I keep expecting Zildjian to introduce something to compete with Sabian's XS series.

Exactly, I dug around on Zildjians site when I saw these in a pop up and there the new ZBT equivalent. The ZBT line has been cancelled.
