NGD: Ludwig / Revival "Auditorium" 15"x6.5" snare

Absolutely loving this drum. Revival Drum Shop in Portland put out a limited reissue of this size -- it's a 15"x6.5" Ludwig Classic Oak.
Antique Oak finish, bowtie lugs, red-felt baseball bat muffler, 12-strand snare wires.

It does fat and thick in the middle of the drum, ringy and diffuse at the edge, and blows your hair back with rimshots.

Big fan!

Nice! I'm just imagining how good digging double strokes into a 15" snare must feel. Like that spot halfway between the rim and the center. I bet that feels soooo satisfying.
