For sale is a 4.75 x 14, 10 lug, Alloy Classic snare. It is a cast aluminum shell. This shell dates back to 2001, I believe, and it had powder coated hardware on it at one time. All of that was replaced and updated by Nick Jones at N&C. It now has black chrome, triple flanged hoops and black chrome over brass hardware. Absolutely killer snare at any tuning and with the updated hardware it is like new again. Price is $600 shipped to your door. PM with any questions - thanks for looking!

Don't let the shallow shell fool you - this drum can have a deep, rich tone or tune it up high and crisp for jazz. It's an amazing recording drum as well.

The more I think about it (and after playing it a while over the past few days), the more I think I want to keep this drum. I will leave it up for the next 24 hours or so, in case someone really wants it - price is firm at $600 shipped.

What kind of bearing edges does it have? Shell thickness?
I am not certain of the shell thickness. It’s cast aluminum, so it’s on the heavy side, but it’s not what I’d consider a thick shell. Bearing edges are not rolled - edges and beds are CNC machines so they are very exact. 45 degree edges very sharp and precise. I can take more pics of that if you’d like.
