Nordic v Kellar Shells

Just throwing this out there but it might be worth contacting C&C about their shells. They make shells with thicker plies than Keller or Nordic. My old Gretsch RB toms are a smidge over 6mm and the kick is about 8mm. I know everyone has a different idea about what works but 4.5mm is scary thin without reinforcement rings added. I'll also vouch for Eames shells sounding incredible.
