Covid put the kabash on past NYE gigs but things seem to be opening up and people are going out. I've even been on the road a little.
I ended up getting a gig this year. You guys working NYE this year?

Yep
Eagles club in Waverly Ohio.
They booked us 6 months ago after we played a gig there and what a great venue.
Owners and members are passionate and dead-serious about the music there. They pay well and have top regional talent regularly. Professional sound, FOH, and stage. Really excited about this one.
They treated us like stars last time.

Yep, second year in a row at Evenflow (Geneva, IL) with The Lounge Puppets. 80's hair metal and arena rock. Nice size room not too small, not too large. Recently revamped their PA this year and it sounds great.

We’ll be back at a local retirement community for the 5th or 6th year in a row. It’s low stress, a very appreciative audience and even pays decent.

I have a gig on 12/30, but no NYE gig. Weirdly, last year I had gigs on 12/31 and 1/1, despite Omicron rampaging.

I’m playing with a tribute to Olivia Newton-John made up of members of popular Austin bands. It’s part of a large “tribute fest” with bands paying homage to The Police, Sex Pistols, Big Star, and Loretta Lynn to name a few. It’ll be a good time.

NYE ‘74 we hopped a train from CT into NYC saw Mountain at the Felt Forum 10th row got our faces entirely blown off we were so lit we Lv’d every second of it. Now of all the crazy things and above all odds after the show we ran into my parents in Time Square! Good thing , they were equally as lit as us!
Nope I don’t do gigs on NYE way past my bed time lol

One of the girls actually got a couple instamatic pics!

I am playing at my regular haunt - a nice restaurant/pub 5 minutes drive from my house . Easy load in and load out . We have a very good following that pack the house everytime we play . I will probably take my Birdseye Ludwig kit out for that gig .
