"TACO" 1/19/2004 - 11/28/2017

He had congestive heart failure and has been getting by on medications for the last 6 months. We knew this was coming but you are never fully prepared.

We will miss him.

Sorry for your loss. They will hang on just for us, so this is truly the best decision we can make for our pets. Hang in there.

Those long good-byes are hard to take, that's why making "that decision" is so important.
Let the tears flow, good memories are right behind them,

Thanks for all your kind thoughts.

As hard as this has been for us,we feel for our other dog who was like a brother to Taco.....he has been in a melancholy funk ever since.

Time will heal it.

Getting a pet is like signing a contract where the payment comes due at the end. And it's a whopper of a bill. But still so worth it. Sorry for your loss!

They become part of our families. Never easy to put a pet down. Maybe go out to the local animal shelter and adopt a pet in need, just a thought.

Hardest thing in my life I've ever had to do. This kept me from getting another dog for close to 25 years.

We have a doodle now that I realize we'll lose someday, but he's a member of the family for as long as have him.

Very sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear of this - it is one of the most difficult things I've ever had to experience with multiple dogs over the years. I'll take a good dog for companionship over many people on most days.

As much as I appreciate my dogs, I've also learned to appreciate the lesson they help teach me on the impermanence of all things that come and (eventually) go - which obviously extends to their human counterparts as well.
