For sure, as a cappuccino fan I endorse this wrap!I had a 20/12/14 kit on that finish back in 2014 - it is one of the coolest wraps .
Ok man, you've been cryptic in alluding to this up until now. We need details to help understand how you scored not one, not two but THREE Gretsch kits in one shot. Congrats! The Great Gretsch Score of ‘23![]()
Good ole Craigslist!Ok man, you've been cryptic in alluding to this up until now. We need details to help understand how you scored not one, not two but THREE Gretsch kits in one shot. Congrats!
Holy cow! Remo Legacy! Those are the best heads Remo ever made. Save those!Oh my gosh, picked up a really great set today. One owner square badge kit rosewood finish. Super deal. I guess the fella that sold them wasn’t after a ton of money, and wanted them to stay local, so Revival payed it forward as well. Super glad they are my local shop! Even had the original invoice. Had some heads on it that I never heard of before, but whatever they are it sounds really good, good enough that I can overlook the somewhat eighties sizes. Plus all the drums are virgin, which is a plus for me. Super excited.

Strangely, on the other side of both toms are ancient clear emperors? Kinda left field, but sounds really cool.Holy cow! Remo Legacy! Those are the best heads Remo ever made. Save those!
You said “that seller” and my first thought was, the women pictures.Could be an undrilled Gretsch shell in a Pearl free-floater. Does not have to be special order or collaboration. I'd avoid that seller anyway...
This is the seller previously known as "p00der". Known for stripping vintage drums and selling them as parts etc.You said “that seller” and my first thought was, the women pictures.
And yes. The women pictures indeed.
Could be fishy indeed.
Congrats to you and great news on the production rate! I ordered a 8x 7 tom from Ridgeland through DCP approx 5 weeks ago and I was told that the order lag time could be up to 17 weeks. Hopefully I'll be lucky like you and get a sooner shipping date! Be sure to post pics of your kit when you are able. Always a thrill to look at a factory fresh Gretsch kit!Happy to report that Gretsch waiting times seems to have gone down (if I’m not just super lucky) - my Broadkaster kit ordered 3rd of February is now ready and being shipped to the store! Amazing and surprising given the 30-35 week build time initially stated. Production rate seems up!
Very nice!Talking about great sounding Gretsches, this is a ridiculously great sounding kit:
I love playing my USA customs with mallets. It makes me feel like I’m a pro jazz drummer/timpani playerPlaying mallets on my Gretsch USA Custom at the Sunday improv session. Relatively new to me kit, so first time really hearing it recorded. Just a stereo mic picking up the entire room, but I'm enjoying the sound of these things. Mallets remove the articulation, but the 18" kick has more boom than I ever hear behind the kit.
