I have NOT been hunting for drums. Something drew me yesterday to do a quick search on my local Craigslist near Seattle. Score!! It's been sitting in a closet since the late 1960's, and originally came from Indiana where the guys father purchased three identical green drums for his three sons to play in the local municipal band. Jade Green is near impossible to find, and one of my very favorites.

This is the first one I have seen in a field/parade drum. Not sure what I'm doing with it just yet.

Beat me to it! Congrats! I saw it after (of course) I had just got back to Tacoma from Federal Way. Did you get to peek at that other snare in the pic?

Nicely done. Did see it before you bought, but not on my interest level as I am trying to clear the basement a bit.

Hi Jusden,
Thanks for the reply...

A few questions before I make an offer:
1. You said solid mahogany, correct?
2. Are you sure about the "white interior" as that would put it in the 1930s but the 4-screw lugs put it in the 1920s.
3. Is the strainer original to the drum? No extra holes etc?
4. All original parts?

Thanks for your time.

Sorry Mike, traveling right now. I'd like to review in detail when I'm back.
