Well, here we are again.
I've managed to locate a few too many kits.
So, a few are out the door.

2018 PDP Concept Classic Maple in Natural w/Wood Hoops

Most of you are familiar with these. One of the most comfortable kits I've played on in a while.
The wood hoops do the job that the lugs fail at ... add a good measure of cool.
The sound and feel of this kit is very good.
Those that have played them know.
Those that are hung up on the name or the lugs ... I don't blame you. They are hideous.
But man oh man ... they make a very nice sound.
Play with the lights dimmed and wear some sunglasses ... you may never realize it.
I added the INDe mount ... it works beautifully!

Ditto above.
The 24 has a PDP mount on the bass to facilitate a cymbal L-Arm or a percussion piece.
If you are interested in purchasing both kits ... to form some sort of bizarre wall of drums ... I'd do a package deal.
It's the way I played them most times.
I like the two toms on a twin stand next to the bass ... great feel.

2012 Premier Custom African Mahogany Genista in Natural Gloss
22x16, 8x7, 10x7.5, 12x8, 14x14, 16x16

This is a bizarre kit that had us all stumped for quite a while.
Recently, a gentleman by the name of Tim O’Neal (previously attached to Premier) confirmed the lineage of the kit.

He stated it is a prototype kit Premier built in their partner factory around 2012.
They were considering limited runs in the Genista line.
The shells are African Mahogany.
He stated they made a few One off prototype kits with a couple of finishes and brass and chrome hardware.

The badges are stickers. My guess, the store owner placed them on the drums as Tim stated Premier did not place them there.
I honestly had considered removing them. Not a fan of those stickers.
The shells are 100% African Mahogany with Birch(?) rerings.
As Tim O’Neal stated, these are real African Mahogany and a fine choice of wood for a high end kit.
Definitely not the cheap stuff.

It is NOT a gloss finish. There are a few pics that appear to be gloss, but that’s just the effects of cleaning the shells.

The lugs are chrome with gaskets underneath.
The mounts are INDE brand and do a phenomenal job of isolation and sustain while allowing for a more standard look.
The bass mount … I don’t have any history on that other than it is on there.
A guess is the store owner attached it to make it more sellable?
It was a nice professional job, however it came to be.
I don’t mind it as it makes setup considerably more convenient.
It is a standard size so there are multiple manufacturers that fit it.
I am using a vintage Tama double tom mount as it just looks the part.
I will leave that to the end user to figure out what they want there.

So, no idea what was done by Premier or the store manager.
All I know is the kit is functional and plays nice and everything on it appears to be done by a professional.
The shells are clean.
The spurs work quite well.
The floor legs do their job.

THE SPECIAL ART RESO HEAD is not for sell … that one stays with me.

I will also include the Premier RIMS mounts … though they are not needed. The INDE mounts really are outstanding.

Bottom line: It’s a very nice and EXTREMELY rare high end Premier kit.
Wonderful sound and a lot of fun to play.

That bass drum tom mount looks like the Yamaha Power V series that was made in England when Yamaha owned Premier. Makes sense. Beautiful kit!!

I love this Premier kit-period. Stuff coming out of the Premier plant during this Yamaha owned time period is legend; Signias, Genestas the two big lines specifically. Any trade or partial trade possibilities? Until I sell some kits (which are on the market) and get cash flow I can’t invest in more.

They are part of the kits … internal dampeners. I was throwing the dampening in with the deal … customer chooses petunias, pillows, or kittens.
Might even toss in a cymbal, too.
Everybody likes a deal.
