..or musical acts like Gordon Lightfoot for example. (oops).

You get two points if you name the Canadian drummer.

I'll knock off the low hanging fruit with Rush and Peart but I'm expecting to see tons of musical acts with a few eye openers hopefully.

Barry Keane is Lightfoot's drummer btw. I remember watching a little documentary on him some time back, might have been posted here.

Paul Anka , Buffy St Marie , Brian Adams, Cowsills, Powder Blues Doug and the Slugs Mahogany Rush Jeff Healey Alanis Morissette Avril LaVigne Bruce Cockurn Bobby Vinton Oscar Peterson Hank Snow KD Lang Anne Murray Shania Twain Terri Clark Maynard Ferguson Peter Appleyard Downchild Blues Band Jan Arden Feist Robbie Robertson Joni Mitchell Lighthouse... drummers? I don't know but a lot of these people used studio cats . Cockburn had Miche Pouliot , Mike Sloski and Terry Clark . Oscar and Ed Thigpen for a long time . KD Lang with Miche Pouliot ( The Reclines ). Whitey Glann was all over the place, with everybody for example - he was the guy with the horizontal bass drums in Bette Midler's ' The Rose " and with Lou Reed for years . Lighthouse drummer was Skip Prokop .

Guess Who Lightfoot Neil Young Tragically Hip etc already mentioned . Steppenwolf was a hybrid Canadian American band . Jerry Edmonton , drums.

Bobby Vinton is from Canonsburg Pennsylvania, south of Pittsburgh. (About fourteen miles from where I sit.)

I just went outside without a jacket and it felt like Canada, for whatever that is worth.

Useless facts about Canonsburg, Perry Como was also from there, and Yenko Chevrolet was based in Canonsburg.

Both places start with Can and have three syllables...Easy mistake.

Canonsburg has so little to separate it from a couple of thousand other small towns, I had to clarify. A cousin of mine had an embarrassing crush on him, he used to flirt with her mom. lol.
