This is a cool post. Just found it. I have to tell ya, went to ireland with another couple (my wife is Irish) a few years back. It was the best vacation I have ever been on. We stayed out in the country side, no big cities. This is a tower at the Cliffs of Moore. Sorry if I spelled that wrong.

Matched pairs and keeping track of how many pair of the same sticks I’ve bought. So I’m up to 6 pairs of Blakey sticks thus far. I’ve trashed pairs 1&3 already.
That was the nice thing about the Hal Blaine's I used to use.
I bought a box of those one time. 12 pairs, but I didn't need to worry about "Matched pairs".
Every single one of those sticks felt just like the other one.
If my hands could still handle a tiny stick like that, I'd still be using them.

I'm sure every Bopworks stick is perfect but I am a wierdo that way. LOL How small are Hal Blaine sticks? My Blakeys are 8D.

The Hal Blaine is made by Zildjian and is, basically, a small 7A.
15 1/8" long, .490" diameter (site currently lists slightly different specs, but those were the ones I remember from back when i used this stick).

Tiny stick, but balanced really nicely. Butt end feels very good, as well.
Only drawback is that it will have you leaning towards very light cymbals because its small size means its a light stick, so it tends to make cymbals sound a bit more pingy and colder than they would with a larger stick.
