Me too! Beer League with vintage goalie equipmentsHockey, mostly. Playing on two ice teams and two in-line teams currently.
+1 on learning how to make sourdough bread! Thanks for the link I found while finishing paging through this thread.Where did you get your starter and how long have you been keeping it?
Love that ‘55! Our bass player has a 4 door that’s pretty much his daily driver. Still has the inline 6 in it with 3 on the tree.I used to love flipping American drums. I pretty much have given it up because there’s no reasonably priced inventory anymore to be had. Although, I’ve always got an eye peeled. It was awesome for 15 or so years before everyone caught on, Lol.
Golf is great but getting older is tough on the handicap. I keep thinking I can turn the clock back once in awhile. No bueno.
Working on my 1955 Chev. Belair is fun. I’m seriously contemplating getting one of those turn key chassis kits and installing an LS with some good power but I’m coming up about $20k short. I’m saving for it though. I just put half down (in June) on a new Gretsch Broadkaster set isn’t helping the car effort. Priorities might be a tad bit askew on that considering I’ve got 3 sets already. Lol
I'll bet it's difficult to not want to keep 1 or 2.....or 10!Well, don't know if I'd quite call it a hobby, but it's something that I'm passionate about.
For the past seventeen years I've been involved in animal rescue. My wife and I do transport for a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier rescue group. (And occasionally for other breeds and groups.) Over the years we've transported over four hundred dogs to new homes.
Most of the time, we transport the dogs across Pennsylvania and Ohio, although on occasion transports have taken us to Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, South Cariolina, Louisiana, Florida, and Quebec. (I'm sure that I've missed a few.) My wife is as involved in dog rescue as I am.

It is ridiculously rewarding on a personal level to be involved in getting these dogs into their forever homes.
Hobby? It's a lot more than that.
You’re taking all this into the studio??? So is this where the opening burn out for Route 666 stems???For those that enjoyed the Ferrari pics here are a few more! Going in the studio to record the drum tracks for our 6th studio album on Monday!
+1 on that!-building a parallel society/economy/network within the state
I’m a new dog owner and am lovin’ it. I’ve always been a cat guy and still am but damn I love Oscar!Well, don't know if I'd quite call it a hobby, but it's something that I'm passionate about.

I do at least one or two triathlons a year. The long swims, rides, and runs are really meditative when you're in shape for them. The first 4 or 6 weeks of the training plan are brutal though if you've let yourself go for a while. What types of hobbies do you have beyond drums and music? For me, drums is mostly it since most of my time is simply working or spending time with the family. I’d like to do other things, but just don’t have much time to commit to other endeavors. Let’s hear about your hobbies!
You, sir, are an asset to society. Well-done.It is ridiculously rewarding on a personal level to be involved in getting these dogs into their forever homes.
