Plenty of commenters were a bit more than indifferent.

There were a lot more that expressed indifference or positive comments.

I think you tend to extrapolate on the negative.

Similar to most journalists and mainstream media, they like to focus on a small negative component to make a negative story out of something that's often balanced or very positive.

Then when there's something that needs to be reported negatively they completely dismiss it or try to put a positive spin on it.
