Paint product for Slingerland chocolate milk interior?

I posted this on VDF, but thought I would ask here too...

I'm having the edges recut on my Slingerland set, and I want to repaint them chocolate milk to match the original interiors. I'll have the paint store match the color, but not sure what product to use.

I assume oil was used originally. I'm looking at water based latex, oil based enamel (like Behr oil based), and water based alkyd (SW ProClassic, Ben Moore Advance). Any suggestions?

I searched chocolate milk, 48 posts, but could not find any info to help me get close to this stain. Anyone willing to share info? My project is a seat, underside, where the hardware is fastened, you can laugh now, but it is stained and I would like to re stain after repairs are made. Thanks. cv.

Go to Michael's and they have a ton of little latex paint for $2-3 per bottle. I matched Rogers flat grey. You can water down if needed and apply with a rag or paper towel. Don't over think it.
