I used to have a 20” Paiste Alpha Metal ride I liked. I decided one day that since it’s not B20 I should move it along and get a nicer cymbal which was idiotic. I would like to get another one in any size. I have stuff to trade or a sale is possible for the right price.

A few items off the top of my head for trades, I have some other stuff aside from these.

I had an Alpha ride I wasn't using much so I traded it along with a couple other cymbals for a Purecussion kit which I've gigged quite a bit. It was collecting dust for me, but the drum shop guy knew he could move it fast for a tidy profit. Win-win!

Alpha was a sleeper line from Paiste. They once carried a flat ride in the Alpha line and is was sweet!
I once had a Sig Trad Flat and an Alpha Flat..Totally agree. The Alpha Flat was a real sweet flat ride. I regret letting it go.
I still have a Black Label 2002 Flat, just as good though, but do miss my Alpha

My buddy is selling a somewhat rare 22” Zildjian Amir. Not the same cymbal in any way. But they do have the cheap-cymbal-sounds-awesome thing in common.

My whole big kit is Alpha Metal: 17"-20" Crashes, 14" hihats (2 pairs), 10" and 12" splashes, and the 20" and 22" Alpha Metal rides (I also have the big Slipknot S 1st edition black coated Alpha Metal 20" ride, which I use rarely to keep it in good condition). I also have an 8" Alpha splash, a stack of 8" Alpha Splash over 10" Rude Splash, and a Twenty 8" Mini china. None for sale, though!

The mid to late 90s Alpha hats were sleepers. Great lathing, cool look, crisp sound. Not *too* much different from their 2oo2 counterparts IMHO. Great stuff.

Those metal rides (all polished and stuff) were monsters and held their own against any B20 peers - icy, cutting, crisp, articulate, etc. I'm not a metal player, but can appreciate a good metal cymbal.
