Parts 3 and 4 of Nashville trip. Pearl drum co.

PART3 So, 5 or six weeks ago I acquired a set of Pearl Mahogany Limited Edition drums.
The set had some weird white lines under the lacquer. You couldn't feel them but you could see them.
After asking and dealing with Pearl Nashville it was determined that this issue is known as "blushing". This happens when there is still moisture in the glue and lacquer gets applied over it too soon.
I contacted Pearl and because I wasnt the original owner they were not to keen on doing anything but we talked back and forth a bit and came to an agreement we both could live with. Pearl swore me to secrecy. Needless to say they offered mr a very attractive option that wouldnt break the bank.
PART 3 is the end result. I have a factory rewrap over the Mahogany. Here are the pics. The work is flawless and this is the only set in the world like it.

PART4
This part was a real mind blow for me. I went in to explore the possibility of a Pearl dealership as well as collevt my shells.
Wow, what great people over there!
While I was there I was trained in the way Pearl wraps drums and got to hang in the Music City Custom shop for a while. They showed me the recording studio, photo studio, warehouse which was pretty big and the front.
Pearl was not as hip for pics, so they let me take a few but not many. None of the custom shop but wraps.
It was a very interesting tour, really enlightening and they are willing to set me up as a combo dealer in 2022. Mission accomplished. Here are some pics.....
