I doubt Steve’s going to have to take any back to his store.

I thought several of the cymbals he played in the demo sounded great! Would love to know where to find more info on design, weight, etcThe 22" (2852g) that Steve Maxwell demoed on YouTube sounded fabulous to me, but at $621.00 I had to pass on it.
Is there a metal stamp; how does he/ what does the insignia look like JDC..So, I have two - both 21s but neither from Maxwell’s. They arrived on Thursday and they are incredible instruments.
The first one is a 21” cymbal that Paul modified for me. Re-hammered and lathed it to be more of a crash/ride but it sounds beautiful as a main ride as well.
The second one is a 21” that came from one of his blanks to be in the same ballpark as my 22” Medium Thin High. Absolutely incredible.
I have a lot of cymbals and have a nice collection of Paul’s prototypes throughout the years. These are hands down the nicest cymbals I’ve ever owned. His craftsmanship is out of this world and his attention to detail is second to none.
I’ll be taking the 21” MTH as my main ride to my next gig and the modified one to the gig after that. Both will be recorded, so I can see how they sound from a musical perspective.
