Greetings, everyone.

As promised, I'm posting some photos of a "Drop 'G' Badge" Gretsch kit. It's a Broadcaster II configuration and is finished in its original Walnut Lacquer. This is truly a stunning color and it allows the viewer to see the beautiful grain underneath. They were purchased from the second owner.

The sizes are 24/13/14/18/5.5x14. The snare that came with the kit is a model #4165; a COB ten lugger that sounds incredible! The kit came with all the original "Big Giant" hardware. Great stuff; would probably survive in a war zone but very heavy.

Kit was fully dis-assembled, detailed, re-headed and re-assembled. None of the chrome was pitted and there were no extra holes. A full set of new Remos, carefully tuned, and this kit KILLS! This drum set is the epitome of "That Great Gretsch Sound". Very warm and resonant. I just love them and they look fabulous under stage lighting.

Enjoy!

Beautiful! I'd love to find a set with the same finish as my 80's Broadcasters had (Plum Purple). Just in a bop kit.
