This is been getting all my attention lately. 60's Hayman with the rarer
rarer George Hayman Vibrasonic badges. 12x18", 14x14", 8x12" and 5.5x14" snare.
Original wrap is gone – finished in a natural satin oil + original tom mount
upgraded to premier. Cymbals are old 50's A Zildjian 22", 20" with two rivets, 15" hats.

I'll be playing at Earth Dance in a couple of weeks - big peace and love weekend out here in Northern California. In this lineup, though, I play guitar, but our drummer will be using them. Most appropriate, as the show's producer was Bill Graham's right hand man.

As posted in another thread, here's my new/old 1965 Slingerland 13/16/22 kit I got from KCDrumDad Thursday evening. As close to mint as I've ever seen. Wrap is brilliant, chrome near perfect...I love them. Although I'm still getting used to the tuning aspect of the vintage Slings...fighting with the 13 at the moment...but well worth the effort!
Snare is my 6.5x14 Blackrophonic.

The other pic is my 24/13/16 70's Gretsch kit which is the loudest kit I've ever owned! I love these drums a lot! Snare in the pic is a 6.5x14 Pearl brass Sensitone.

An, finally, my Gretsch Catalina maples - which sound surprisingly good considering the price point for these tubs. Maybe I got lucky, but the kick and toms sing like nothing else.

Right now, I'm hitting on these...

At the practice place: 80's black cortex Rockers w/LudCote (22/13/16) and the trusty 'ol Acro...

At home: '64/'69 WMP 3-plys (22/13/16) and a 80's Black Cortex wood student, that for some odd reason is like playing a sample straight from Stan Lynch's Damn the Torpedoes mix...

Giving the wife a break right now from the '79 smoke Vistas (24/14/16), LOL!

Practice kit. The Slingerland Stageband tom sounds excellent, but I'm having trouble dialing in the 20" bass. I've got a PS3 Batter and a Fyberskin PS reso. Any suggestions for tuning and the like?

Either the 2010 Ludwig Legacy's, Green Sparkle

or the 2008 Blue Sparkle Classic Maple

Although I pulled out one of my vintage kits last weekend, A 1967 Champagne Sparkle

This weekend I will set up my Slingerland kit in the drum room. The kit hasn't been out of the cases in a while so I'm looking forward to enjoying them.
