I have an LP ridge runner cowbell, an A zildjian 10" splash, and an EAK 18" dark crash that I've had for over 30 yrs.... Didn't know anything about K's back then....I bought it used for 70.00 in 91 or so....

Since I started acquiring drums, cymbals, hardware and miscellaneous percussion in the late sixties I haven't hardly parted with anything. I gave away my 1966 student model Ludwig Acrolite snare drum, a couple of cymbals and a Ludwig hi hat stand. I keep everything!

An old trap case with wheels. I got it used around 1980 and it's been with me every time I've taken my drums out to play. I can't believe it's still in such good condition. The straps and wheels are even still in good shape.

30+ year old cowbell... been through hell and just thrown in the hardware bag all these years. Looks rough... sounds awesome...

A Z 20" medium ride my Dad bought me at Drum World in Castle Shannon in 1982. It's got some funk to it.

Three pieces I still have AND USE from the first Ludwig Silver Sparkle kit my parents bought me.
1) Keystone Supra (must have hit that thing 300 million times. Looks brand new)
2) WFL Speedking pedal refurbished by Bill Fulton. Smooth as silk and will probably last another 50 years)
3) My favorite hash pipe. (Ok my parents didn't get this for me. Don't use it as much as my dealer is still in San Quentin.)

Gibralter JZ hihat stand for 20 years now, my slingerland kit for 24 years, Tama hp35 bd pedal for 26 years, and a cheap sunlite straight cymbal stand for 20 years.
I've not been at it very long, but my JZ liquid drive stand is the only thing left from my very first drum set. I made it into a No-leg stand. (Was supposed to be 2-leg, but the ring that holds the leg pivots broke)

I have a few old things I still use regularly.

1. Slingerland white marine pearl 6 lug snare drum Mon and Dad gave me for Christmas in 1972.
2. Zildjain hi hat cymbals Mom and Dad gave me for my birthday in 1973.
3. Zildjain crash cymbal I bought from my HS best friend when he sold me his kit in 1977. He bought it new in 1975. Has a few cracks in it now but still sounds great.
