Post options bar greyed out - ?

Hi all, I noticed yesterday the options bar (where the options for pics, links, etc are, are now greyed out for me and I can't use them. Anyone else having this issue? Did I mess up something? The only option I se I can hit is the "preview" at the far right.

Well, just tried in Edge and the bar is there so... something happened with my firefox. My mouse has been giving me spurious right clicks so God know what I did. Sigh.

If you are stuck like that the usual fixes apply:

reload the page (usually ctr-R or similar)
try a different browser (you did and it was ok)
log out and back in again (tell us if that fixed it)
delete all the dfo cookies and then repeat previous step

I'm on Firefox 78.15.0esr on an obsolete Mac on OSX 10.11.6 and things occasionally get tangled up with switching preview on and off. It doesn't help that in a recent revision of the Xenforo software an inappropriate color scheme was employed which makes it really hard to see (let alone use) all the editing features. Light grey for selected text doesn't really let one see what has been selected on a white background. If there is a better color scheme I haven't found it.
