So that’s brings me to my next question do you fee going off charts takes away the “feel” playing it completely note for note? I always wondered. I can read charts I just never have played with them.

Interesting question. I’d say I play with the same feel either way.

I'd rather use the charts as reference or learn important parts from it. Then from there, focus on the song, the groove and have fun!

**take for instance, I just posted Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin. I downloaded the transcripts just for the intro and outro. The rest I just went with the flow.
