Hello All,
I had recently posted that I was looking for a snare to play with a lone Piper and that I would prefer a Premier Royal Scot. One of the leads lead me to a beautiful drum that needed a couple of cracked lugs replaced. I was soon lucky enough to find an ebay auction for some "Parts Snares".
When they arrived, I realized that I could salvage the lugs I needed and make one good snare out of these two. Here is the link : http://www.ebay.com/itm/111817347276?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I was able to transfer the top snares from the 8 lug to the 10 lug, so what I still need are mainly 2000 strainer parts and eventually the correct rims.
I need the following:

1. 2- Premier 2000 snare height adjustment screws (that hold the snare wires in place)
2. 2- Premier 2000 round adjustment knobs (throw off and butt end)
3. All four springs for the strainer
4. Snare wires
5. Original 10 lug rims (these can wait)

I have attached a photo from an ebay auction of the round knobs and springs.

The drum polished up really nice! (I can live with the dings)

Please let me know if you have any of these spares in your Premier parts bin.

Thanks,
-EW

How did gathering parts go? I have a 10 lug Royal Scot (grand fathers) which I got into working state, but also needing the bottom hoop to complete

HI,
I have all of those parts, so sent me a message.
I could trade the parts with Gretsch, Ludwig, Camco or George way parts.

Let me know what you've got.

Thanks
