C'mon, rocker dudes, you know this is the set for you to get out there and sow sonic mayhem with. I'm not even a rocker dude, and I want to buy these. But I just can't. At this price I can't believe these are still here.

Had it sold but buyer backed out..................funny reason = no money.

At any rate -- shell pack and snare still available.

Amazing -- local dude was ready to pick these up except he realized his tax refund was way less than expected -- no sale AGAIN.
So all is still available -- AGAIN.

I bought these shells from Rupps (Denver) in 2012.
Ludwig Epics were supposed to compete in the mid-level market but they were on the upper end (in both quality and price) of that group.
Ludwig realized their mistake and discontinued the line a couple of years later.
They were made in Taiwan from American maple and birch.................and they showed up at my house in absolutely perfect condition.
Ludwig still has their American pro-line stuff and they still have their entry level stuff...............but nothing like these any more.
And I agree -- the lugs are cool.
