Very helpful to sell a pile of shells and give the overall size of the pile...

Looks like 12 / 14 / 18 - $300. I don't expect that it will stay that way but there hasn't been much action. Am I missing something or would that be a great deal?

Wow, just for fun, I went to the Juliens auctions main auction search and typed in "Drum". Crazy rich people buying those historic sets and pieces. 2.1 mill for Ringo set. 189 thousand for Stewart Copeland's blue Tamas.
Interestingly, the search for "cymbal" brought reasonably priced results.
I would have liked to have purchased Mitch Mitchel's vintage K cymbals.

notice how it's worded. It says: (I contend Fred is Cleaning out the vineyard/the back Room; they need/want to reclaim the space (for the factory) is my theory)
PROPERTY FROM THE GRETSCH FAMILY ARCHIVES AND PROPERTY FROM THE ESTATE OF HAL

I wonder how many people bought the large stacks of shells, and how long it will be before we see a large bunch of Gretsch drum auctions pop up wherever they can sell them?
