I also have the Midtown as my choice for these kits -- it has wood hoops + die cast claws (the Breakbeats has since added wood hoops, but still uses cheapo stamped claws, as do the various Sonor kits), a decent suspension mount on the tom, and IMO the best bass drum riser (it uses a standard Pearl tom mount w/ 7/8" rod running perpendicular to the shell, ending in a flat plate that the pedal clamps to).Soulfinger, the Midtown was a consideration, why is it your favorite?
Just in general it feels like more solid kit -- similar to the Yamaha Stage Custom and the Pearl Exports, it feels + plays a price point above where it is.
