Rattle can for Cadillac Green?

I'm working on rescuing some Gretsch SS badged orphans, and the cost of wrap, when all is said and done, may be prohibitive.
I was wondering if there are any spray cans out there (Krylon, Rustoleum etc) that could pass for Gretsch's Cadillac Green. I don't need to match anything, just want to go for the effect
I've never seen the finish in person, so I'm kind of clueless.

A lot of instrument colors were matches for a corresponding auto color (i.e. Fiesta Red, Sonic Blue, Olympic White, Pellham Blue, etc.); however- this was a wrap, no?

Your best bet is to see if you can’t physically get a hold of some Caddy Green and have paint made to match; however, that could end up more expensive that wrap.

Interesting @JDA If I read correctly, they painted over white wrap?!? If so, it could be a fool’s errand to do this unless you made the wrap white FIRST. This could end up costing the OP more to do it with paint.

If it were me, I would go a different direction. Just my $0.02 worth.

No there was Both Lacquer only and a Clear wrap over the green lacquer;

I know at my work we used to be able to get custom rattle cans made up by the local car paint store. Any color in the books. There was a minimum number of cans you had to buy and it wasn't cheap, but it was possible.

Cadillac Green

ReRanch is good stuff and there are LOTS of resource material there. Kils primer will be a required purchase, as you want those shells SMMMMOOOOOOTHHH.

You may have some luck if you pursue something like British Racing Green, like the Jaguars used.

It may take some searching but you'll see that various manufacturers offer differing versions of British Racing Green, but some come pretty close to the Caddy Green.
I think a lot of them woudl come out looking better than a P 40

OT, what ever happened to Donnie the painter guy who used to hang here at DFO?
He could tell ya exactly how to prep them and give you a line on the color.

Caddy looks Forest Green to me, I don't think you could tell 10 ft. from the stage.
