Recommend online drum lessons?

Anyone have a recommendation for online drum lessons for a 16 year old? Is Mike Johnston’s site too advanced?

You might ask Mike Johnston? I don't know of him. I would think that the higher quality of teacher he can start with, the better, and the longer and more full the relationship could be

Just be sure about the product you're purchasing. Drum lessons are conducted live with another person-- either in person, or online via skype or zoom. Anything else is not drum lessons, and is not a substitute for drum lessons.

Also take a look at Drumeo. They've got plenty of content including beginner level (I'm assuming the 16yo is a beginner).
