I have a random question...

Back in ‘04, during the online kit builder craze, I had a Keller shelled / ego lugged kit built. The drums are a nice red/orange burst, but you can tell the 14” Tom was done separate from the others as the red is just a touch deeper.

The finish was alcohol soluble dye with a ppg auto urethane clear.

Is there anything that can be done to even those out (really it’s just the 12-14 since they’re the only ones every to sit side by side). Or would my only real option be to just replace the 12-14 shells with new ones and hope for the best?

Thank you!

That's the only thing that crosses my (alleged) mind. Find a good auto refinisher who has access to the computerized matching system. Especially one who has a lot of customized paintwork under his belt.
