Vintage ROGERS 5pc. Drum Set

For those of you who know, there's no need to explain. And yes Rogers did make a Mojave Red Solid wrap in 73", according to the catolog.

For those of you who don't know. I'll explain briefly.

This is a 1972-1973 Rogers 5pc. Drum Set. A Script badge with Swivomatic hardware. The shells made of MAPLE and the sizes are freakin huge. This kit consist of a 24", 16" 13" 14" with a 14" Chrome on Brass(COB) Rogers Powertone Snare Drum. This set was made in Fullerton California. That's right made in the good ol USA.

If you been wanting to own a vintage kit that looks fantastic, sounds killer, and is freakin loud, then this baby is it.

Mojave Red Wrap

Sizes & Specs:
13" Tom
14" Tom
16" Floor Tom
24" Bass
Snare Drum(POWERTONE)
The shells are in great shape, no extra holes. This does have the gray speckle interior, however, 3 were painted black. The bass hoops look to be original.

Cymbals and Hardware Stands are not included.

**If the Ad is UP the Kit is Still Available.

Apparently the price was reduced to $880, not a bad deal. Too bad they were painted black inside, but that could be fixed.

That is a scarce color and the drums look good....

Love the part that explains that three shells were painted black...must have been a "Stones" fan??

If that bass drum were a 22" I would be interested. If it were a 20" bass drum, I'd be all over this drum set. It's interesting to me that drum colors that were not big sellers become hot items when they are vintage drums. I don't think that I would have chosen that color if I had been in the market for new drums when that color came out. But, now I think it is cool.

I agree. The badges are too low on the shell and too steep an angle. And the one on the floor tom is right above the leg.
