Removing Head logos again

Anyone tried Novus or similar scratch remover to remove logos from a drumhead ?

Smooth head you can use Nail Polish Remover or Acetone (same thing)........Coated I have no idea. Possibly Mr. Clean Magic Eraser?....

Tried some nail polish remover from the Missus but it doesn't do anything. smooth head.

Use Lacquer thinner from a paint store. I've removed logos for years with it...

I've had success with lighter fluid. I think it's naptha.

I used Goof Off on a Fiberskyn logo the other day. Got rid of most of it...good enough when seen on stage.

There are two types of nail polish removers available, with acetone or without acetone. You need the acetone to make much headway on logos. I just buy straight acetone from the hardware store. That's what I typically use on smooth heads and fiberskyn but thought I'd give the Goof Off a try this time.

Coated heads are a different matter as acetone, or most anything else you might try, will often remove the coating right along with the logo.

Acetone. And not all finger nail polish remover contains acetone.
