Now I’m not one to post gossip. But, I am a gear head and always interested in what the pros use and their reasons.
More I listen to Rikki, the more I like the guy. He doesn’t drop 12 F bombs in a sentence, he can form a coherent thought into words, he’s not a spazz.
His YT channel is interesting, little bit drums, motorcycle, off roading, some ghost hunting, and urban exploration.
He joined Yamaha. And in this clip, not once did he bash DW, not once did he say his new oak kit is the best he ever heard, typical things players do when they make a move. He actually pointed out a few things that could be done different and with a respectful tone. He mentions consistency, and just wanting something different. Things anybody would be looking for. He using a 6 piece off the shelf kit, 2 racks, 2 floors, Yamaha hardware. Him talking about the double bass pedal sounds like one guys and gals should check out.
And he closed out talking a little about his Rogers collection. I commented to him to do a video on them.
Check out his channel, it’s pretty good
