Snare looks like the Premier 4x14 Royal Ace possibly the one from his 1960 Premier Mahogany Durplastic kit..... the rest of the white kit is Premier also?

Here is some great footage of the Beatles in concert in '66 at Circus Krone in Germany....views from behind Ringo which shows both the 18" and the 20".

To my untrained eye, the 18" APPEARS to have a big bell and the 20" APPEARS to have a small bell but that is just what my eyes tell me.

See the footage at 10:52-11.07 and 13:19-13.32...still not detailed but the cymbals sounds much like what you hear on the records...not sure if this helps or continues to "muddy the water"?

May 11th- 1964. Baby's in Black sessions. I spy the Kamala or Zyn 20" with Rivets. Also note, it's the first session to use the AKG D19 as an overhead microphone.

Summer 1964- Two songs into the Beatles For Sale sessions, they go to America for the first full fledged tour. The amps got bigger, the drumheads newer, the band got more instruments- including what I believe to be a brand new set of Zildjian crash/ride cymbals. Though, the Hi hats remained the same. By August of 1964, Ringo is seemingly using a new 18" and 20" cymbals. The following photos are exclusively of these two used as a pair in his setup. Notice the lathe lines, newer shine, lack of rivets on the 20", and the exceptional sound to this new 18" cymbal Ringo received! The 18" Zildjian crash/ride heard on; Beatles For Sale (minus Baby's & I'm a Loser), Help! Live at the Hollywood Bowl, Rubber Soul, Magical Mystery Tour, Abbey Road, and Let it Be. His Zildjian 18" sounded amazing and I will be posting more and more about this one. Sadly, there is no precise picture of a stamp that I have seen But I am almost positive this is a Zildjian cymbal.

The earlier AVEDIS die stamp on the hi hats looks late 1950's to me based on the word "AVEDIS" being centered between script (upper stamp) and lower half of stamp. It's clearly not sitting closer to the word "ZILDJIAN" as in a 60's stamp. And the "look" of the hats (flat saucer look and small bell) also looks like a 50's - possibly the SSA.

GB, thanks for all the attention to detail to construct this thread. Labor of love.

February 27th- 1965. Filming Help! on the Beach.
Ringo is still using the same drum heads/ all Zildjian cymbals from the first US tour. To me, it looks like the 20" with the deep lathe line is a 50's Zildjian with a medium bow profile and the conical bell. From side pictures that I will show soon, the bell looks more dome shaped. I will refer to this cymbal as the "Help!" cymbal as I believe it reappears on Rubber Soul, the last tour, Revolver, and Sgt. Pepper sessions at least. Possibly white album as well.

On a side note... it sounds like Ringo brought back and used the Kamala/ Zyn with rivets from the first Ed Sullivan Show/ Hard Day's Night sessions on the song Help!
<<<check out the first cymbal hits.

April 20- 1965-- when they started to play shows again in '65. It looks to me Ringo stayed with the same cymbals as we have been seeing. Note the lathe line in the 20" & the dip in the edge on the 18"
