I have the opportunity to obtain a funky old cymbal which has five holes drilled in it for Rivets. Anyone have five rivets they could pass along? Also, are rivets relatively easy to install? The videos of installing rivets looks fairly straight forward but there always seems to be something more to projects than I can ever imagine or predict. Are rivets pretty much all the same or are there different sizes and weights?

theres 2 types/ Split and Flare
split are easy to put in and take out and put back in...with simple screwdriver and small pliers; until it's done crimped too many times and a piece breaks.
Flare need a punch and are a bear (or more bear) to repeatedly take in and out more

Get split rivets. Lots of cheap sellers online. Easy in out. Just because there’s 5 holes doesn’t mean you need to fill them all.

Got a girl in the house? Joe can teach you a trick with hair clips until you get rivets.
