Oh I see what I did wrong. Corrected as: 3and.

It's just that I hear it as 16th notes. So I guess I'd describe it properly as "4e". Not "3e" like I had it. I'm often confused.

I think you mean Little Richard's version of " Keep a Knocking"
The sturctures of both Keep a Knockin and Johnny B. Goode are very similar. I just read the Wiki where Jimmy Paige mentions Bonzo played the beginning of the Little Richard tune. When I play Rock N Roll live, I sing the beginning guitar riff of Johnny B. Goode to myself. It matches perfectly.

Thanks for pointing that out though.

I played this incorrectly for years...I intentionally changed the last part of the intro to a quick 1-2-3-4, straight time. My bandmates picked up on that a lot easier than the off-beat stuff.
