My son and I saw Queen with Adam Lambert last night in Boston
Roger's DW concert tom kit sounded absolutely incredible, as did he!
I have definitely seen a small resurgence in interest in these setups the past couple years.

And by the way, the concert was amazing, almost beyond words. One of the best I have ever seen
and that is a good many
I was a bit skeptical, but they blew me away. If you have the opportunity, go see the show!

only ever saw Queen when Paul Rodgers toured and sang with them, but it was a great show Roger still had a Ludwig kit for that tour.

They were in Cleveland a couple days ago.

I'd seen them a few times when Freddie Mercury and John Deacon were still with them. Even at a small hall after their second album was released. They were phenomenal.

Though, I've not had any desire to see only half the original band.

Yes, Roger Taylor is a fantastic drummer!

Wish i could have caught the show, I did see Queen twice opening date of their 1977 North American Tour in the cumberland county civic center in Maine, and 1981
at the old Boston Garden, great, great shows and Roger Taylor sounded great.

I saw Queen as a teen back in the 70's with the original lineup.
I have always loved Rogers drum and cymbal sound.

I was in San Jose in June when they were in town but I didn't get to the show - I sat in on a jazz jam downtown............the band has always kicked butt and from the vids I have seen of the singer, it would be a great show.........

Love Roger Taylor. I find his style impossible to imitate.

I can't think of a drummer who ever had a hit on his own than I liked better than I'm In Love With My Car. (Sorry, Ringo).

Fun fact: his son, Rufus Tiger Taylor is the drummer for The Darkness.

I saw them in Australia last year, with Adam on vocals and Roger was top of his game. Fantastic concert, so much so, we are going to see them again this year when they return.

My wife got us tickets to the show in Houston next weekend. At first I was skeptical about how good it could be, but everything I've read has been positive so I'm looking forward to it.

I honestly think that they should have stopped when Freddie died (so did John Deacon, clearly). I'm with an earlier poster, I've no desire to see half the original band playing live and what I've heard of the new line-up, or the Paul Rodgers just doesn't do it for me.

Freddie's irreplaceable to the band, stylistically and musically and anyone else just sounds like karaoke to my ears.
