I’m a vintage drum guy and have been since I started playing on my fathers 50s WFL kit at 11 years old… but I find myself wanting a more modern kit in addition to my vintage sets.

I’d like to trade one of my Rogers kits for something more modern in 10, 12, 14, 20 sizes. Will consider other tom size but firm on a 20 kick. I’m pretty open to trading either one of these two kits:

1) Rogers, Fullerton era 9/72, Swivomatic kit in New Mahogany in 12/13/16/22. Killer drums with 3 ply shells and rerings. Good edges and nice chrome with just a few minor cosmetic issues on the wrap. All collets have been upgraded to the better die cast versions.

2) Rogers Big R Xp8 in New England White 12/16/22. These drums are in fantastic shape with all correct hardware. Not much to say about them - clean kit and great shape.

I’m happy to provide additional pictures as requested. Shipping is possible and I’m always willing to drive a few hours from Indianapolis in pursuit of drums.

Bump

I’ve had a few messages asking what I value these at.

With the current used market I think fair value is around 1,000-1,200 for the Swivomatics and 900-1,000 for the XP8 set.

Those XP8's don't look a day over 2004. Nice.
(with tom post) Look as good to me as the new Craviotto Diamond series whats it called..

It probably doesn’t tick all your boxes but I have a shell pack I’d trade. Sonor 3007 in smooth brown burst. 8/10/12/13 toms, 14/16 FT, 22 BD, matching snare. Darn near perfect condition. Looks like this lifted photo.

Thanks for the offer but not what I’m after.

@JDA sorry these pics took so long, last week was a doozy.

The shells and edges are in fantastic shape; some of the chrome shows it’s age and wrap on the ft has some minor lift at the seam (I’m happy to fix this before sending to a new owner).
