Hello Folks;

Saw and advertisement for a pair of 18" Sabian AA crash. The asking price ($40.00) was very appealing so I decide to take a look.
It so happen the cymbals are in immaculate condition, they are 20" but they are Drum Corp ( big band/orchestra)
A cursory check on line revealed to be quite expensive cymbals. At $40.00 decide to take them.
Question is... can they be used on a drum set or sell them back for a real good price and use the money for other cymbals ?

I have an 18" old A that was from a pair of band cymbals.

If it sounds good, use it.

It depends on the cymbals, your ear and what you play.

I had some sabian drum corp 16s I hated on the kit. But I've used Zmacs and think they're awesome (especially the Ks).

at $40 you could send them to Heather Stine or Ken at Midwest and have them customized.

FWIW...i once scored a cheap AAX Metal Crash...now I don't play metal or need a 20" crash...but I'll be damned if it wasn't an awesome ride for me (one of the few things I regret selling).

Sounds like a nice pair of hi hats. Be a pioneer, 20" hats.
