I kind of like it. There’s a current trend called “brutalist web design” and this is like a late-stage version of that.

Can you make out the lettering?
Pretty stupid design.

This company is cursed with their aesthetic choices!

TBH, I think the new logo is at least as decent as the original. I also think it would look a lot better if it were smaller.

Whatever this webpage is supposed to be about ... not so much.

I mean what's the point ?
It's like writing with a black magic marker on a black sheet of paper.
Why are they trying to camouflage important info like address and phone numbers?
I guess only the "hip"can figure it out.

That rebrand and web design is the work of some administrators or CEO’s young nephew that is one year out of school.
.... or something like that

You can highlight with your mouse and make it legible too,but one needs to call out stupidity when one sees it.

Yeah, it should have been lighter text if it's a dark background, or use a white font with a black border. Anything with higher contrast.

I worked next door to the high school Web teacher for a few years back when I was a teacher. Inevitably, a few of her students would design web pages with this sort of dark illegible text and background.
So, I guess Sabian hit the mark for the young middle school and high school drumming market they were obviously trying to tap into with this whole redesign.
Snarky at level 10.

The Sabian website may leave much to be desired in its black text-on-black background design aesthetic, but at least their products are still first-rate. I am continuously impressed by the quality and range of their offerings. The vast majority of my cymbal collection are Sabians. They provide excellent customer service, too. I've sent a couple of my cymbals to them for a "refresh" and the results have always been incredibly impressive.
